Using technology previously reserved for government intelligence, Fixmymovie.com (free during beta) is a Flash-based Web service that turns low-res cell phone or digicam video clips into video worth sharing. It corrects errors and enhances resolution by a factor of up to 9 times the original pixel density. Upload a clip and you'll get a ten-second preview showing the difference-which is typically quite noticeable, with reduced artifacts, enhanced color, and smoother text. Once the clip is processed, it can be shared online or downloaded in WMV or QuickTime formats.
