Semi-rugged notebooks might as well be doorstops if you can't use them out in the field. That's where the patent-pending DynaVue technology comes in.

Available on the GoBook VR-2 and MR-1, DynaVue makes LCDs viewable in direct sunlight, thanks to polarizing techniques that transform reflected light waves from ambient sources into frequencies undetectable by the human eye. And while other outdoor screens crank the brightness to 1,000 nits (killing battery life in the process), the DynaVue screen uses a low-power backlight.
