HP Announces Compaq 6515b and HP Compaq 6715b
HP's new business machines offer robust connectivity and security options.

Today, HP continues its assault on Dell by unveiling two new notebooks: the HP Compaq 6515b and the HP Compaq 6715b. These business machines offer rich wireless and security packages that will keep users productive and protected while on the go.
Starting at just over five pounds, the HP Compaq 6515b is a thin-and-light notebook that can be outfitted with one of four AMD processors, an 80GB, 120GB, or 160GB hard drive, Windows XP Pro, Vista Home Basic, or Vista Business, EV-DO or HSDPA mobile broadband, up to 4GB of RAM, and one of several optical drives, including a dual-layer DVD+/-RW SuperMulti drive with LightScribe technology. ATI Radeon X1250 graphics, a full-sized keyboard, 802.11n connectivity, and a 14.1-inch WXGA display (with optional BrightView) are also included. The HP Compaq 6715b offers similar specs and options as the 6515b, but includes a 15.4-inch display.
