Do you feel like your opinion is worth something? Whether it's your opinion on electronics or a type of snack food, Expo TV wants to hear what you think--and pay you for it. ExpoTV, a site that allows users to upload short videos expressing their opinions on any consumer products, announced today the expansion of its Web site. Daphne Kwon, CEO of ExpoTV, told us that the company "want[s] real consumers talking about their authentic experience with products in any category out there."  Looking to improve this consumer interaction, the ExpoTV site has enhanced a number of its social-networking components.

With more than 56,000 video opinions, the ExpoTV site has been revamped to include scoring and recognition levels of reviewers. Until now, ExpoTV users looking for a video opinion had to sift through dozens of videos, but now the site will provide badges to certain members, giving them ExpoTV creditability. Reviewers can earn badges by receiving community votes recognizing certain skills; for example, good production quality receives a "Director" badge, intelligence a "Professor" badge, and category expertise a "Guru" badge. These badges appear on a member's profile. Also added to the site are smarter search criteria options; users are now able to specify the type of reviewer they want to hear from and have the ability to subscribe to specific video-opinion creators or categories.

Along with these new services, ExpoTV is also offering reviewers money for their video opinions. For every video opinion you upload to the site, ExpoTV will pay you $5.00. On top of that, you'll get one cent for every video play and $5.00 for every friend you refer.
