Lexar JumpDrive Traveler
A small external drive that provides big storage.
![]() Price: $46 for 128MB($65, 256MB; $119, 512MB)

A compelling and much less expensive alternative to the Migo, Lexar JumpDrive Traveler delivers similar Internet Explorer, file- and hard-drive-synchronization elegance, with the added benefit of supporting both Outlook Express and Outlook. ![]() Simply plug in the drive, and when the JumpDrive window appears, click Settings to begin selecting items to be stored on the drive. While designating IE favorites or e-mail components to be copied, a handy disk usage meter displays the amount of needed disk space. We tested the 128MB drive, but found it too small to carry more than a few days of Outlook files. The 256MB version costs $50 more. Otherwise, the combination e-mail, Internet, and file synchronization is outstanding. All e-mail and Web browsing data remains on the drive and is not copied to the host PC, to ensure your data stays yours. We also liked the graphical user interface with icons for IE, Outlook, and file synchronization. Click one, and the application springs to life with your designated information. Also useful is a handy area for labeling on one side of the drive, with the capacity stamped on the other.
