When connected to a notebook via USB (there's also a 3.5mm analog option), an easy-to-read LCD shows the date and time, a countdown timer, computer performance numbers and-our favorite-artist and song names. The song and artist readouts are available only to those using iTunes, Musicmatch Jukebox, and Windows Media Player. Our only complaint is that the touch controls were unresponsive at times. Nevertheless, the Logitech Z-10's crisp sound, strong volume, and smooth, balanced bass make it an excellent entertainment companion for your notebook.
