Speakerphones have not earned the best reputation for voice quality in the home or in the car, but Parrot answers the call for better audio fidelity-even in a moving vehicle-with its $129 MINIKIT.

The MINIKIT comes with a simple clip to attach the 3.7-ounce device to your car's sun visor, and a DC car adapter. The setup is as simple as plugging it in and pressing the small but accessible power button and then pairing it with your Bluetooth cell phone. The MINIKIT is sleek and sexy, though the power cord draping across your car may crimp your style and prove to be a distraction while driving. That's our only serious complaint, however, and it's relevant only when the ten-hour battery is low.

The device performed remarkably well. Two large buttons work as pick-up and hang-up buttons, and a dial lets you easily control the volume, which is sufficient for freeway and in-town road noise levels. The sound quality was excellent on both ends, and the advanced voice recognition dialing worked without a hitch on our tests.

While speakerphones may take some time to catch on, we happily recommend starting with this one for its simple, straightforward design and excellent voice quality.
