The iLuv i552 iPod boombox has a carrying handle joining the two speakers and measures 14.2 x 7.5 x 6.1 inches. A universal iPod dock sits in the center, as do playback controls and a small monochrome LCD. Power, AV out, and line-in ports are on the back, and it comes with a wireless remote and A/V cable.
We weren't particularly impressed with the six-watt system's sound quality or the integrated FM tuner's strength. The iLuv i552 runs on AC or eight C batteries and works best in a bedroom or on a table next to your beach chair.
